Autonomous GI CRNA – Daytime Locums in the Goldsboro Area
Job Description
Experienced CRNAs are needed for a high-efficiency GI practice in the Goldsboro, North Carolina area. This autonomous role features streamlined endoscopy workflows, predictable daytime hours, and many early finishes—ideal for providers seeking steady locums coverage without nights, weekends, or call.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent anesthesia for GI endoscopic procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs/MAC).
- Complete pre-anesthetic assessments and create individualized anesthetic plans.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures; manage recovery/PACU care.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to facility protocols and safety standards.
Compensation & Schedule
- Daily Rate: $1,400–$1,500 (1099), with an 8-hour daily guarantee
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time; typical day 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (many days end by ~3:00 p.m.)
- Call, Nights, Weekends: None
- Case Volume: ~10–14 cases/day in a fast, efficient setting
- Benefits: 1099 contract (no W-2 benefits)
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program; NBCRNA certified
- Active North Carolina RN/APRN (CRNA) license or eligibility
- Significant independent GI/MAC anesthesia experience
- Proven ability to practice autonomously and manage higher-throughput schedules
