Job Description

Gove County Medical Center in Quinter, Kansas is seeking a licensed CRNA for a 13-week full-time assignment starting November 2025. This locum tenens position includes 24-hour call coverage, autonomy in practice, and a focus on community-based care in a rural critical access hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-call anesthesia coverage for 13 consecutive weeks
• Administer anesthesia for C-sections, general surgery, and pain management procedures
• Perform epidurals and respond within 30 minutes for emergencies
• Complete accurate documentation and billing for anesthesia and pain services

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 contractor position with a flat rate of $140,000
• Billable clinic visits and pain procedures at $25.00 per point
• Flexible to work at other area hospitals if no conflict with this position

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA license and certification in Kansas
• Active professional liability insurance (minimum $300,000/$600,000 coverage)
• Ability to meet medical staff credentialing and bylaws
• Competence in epidurals and general anesthesia techniques

Schedule & Work Environment

• November 2025 start, 13-week duration
• 24/7 call responsibilities with 30-minute response time
• Solo provider model in a rural critical access hospital
