A medical center in western North Carolina is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a high-acuity locum tenens assignment covering night shifts only. This opportunity is ideal for CRNAs who enjoy autonomous practice within a collaborative care-team model and are comfortable managing a diverse surgical case mix. Multiple full-time locum positions are available, providing strong income potential and schedule consistency during the assignment period.
CRNAs will practice in an inpatient hospital environment with anesthesia tech support and no anesthesia assistants. The facility utilizes modern charting systems and offers temporary privileges when urgent coverage is needed. This role is best suited for confident clinicians with at least two years of recent experience who are licensed in North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight anesthesia coverage in a hospital-based setting
- Deliver safe anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties
- Function independently within a collaborative care team model
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner and AIMS

Compensation & Contract Details
- $2,900–$3,100 per day
