Job Description
Atrium Health Mercy, a full-service community hospital in Charlotte, NC, is seeking experienced CRNAs for a long-term locum assignment. This opportunity offers excellent compensation, a supportive environment, and a diverse case mix with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, ortho, spine, neuro, vascular, peds, and regional cases
- Participate in light second-call schedule (~2–3 weekday calls per quarter)
- Respond within 30 minutes to beeper call (~10% callback rate)
Compensation & Benefits
- $260/hour (flat rate)
- Travel and lodging provided
- Malpractice insurance included (1M/3M)
Job Requirements
- Active NC license or IMLC compact license required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Must reside 60+ miles from facility
- Minimum credentialing time: ~60 days
Schedule & Work Environment
- Clinic hours plus second call
- No cardiac, OB, or thoracic cases
- Cases per shift: 2–5
- EMR: Epic
