Minnesota Locum CRNA Job – $240 Hour – Level III Trauma
Job Description
A locum tenens CRNA opportunity is available in Minnesota at a busy Level III trauma center offering strong hourly compensation and a high level of clinical autonomy. This role operates within a collaborative care team model while allowing CRNAs to practice with significant independence.
CRNAs will manage a diverse surgical case mix in a well-supported hospital environment. This position is ideal for experienced providers comfortable with regional anesthesia and working in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for general, orthopedic, ENT, OB, and specialty procedures
- Perform spinal anesthesia, epidurals, and regional blocks
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and create care plans
- Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage recovery
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists in a care team model
- Participate in call coverage if needed
Compensation & Benefits
- $240 per hour
- $260 per hour for overtime
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Full travel reimbursement (mileage, flights, rental car with caps)

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active or eligible Minnesota license
- Strong experience with epidurals, spinals, and regional anesthesia required
- Comfortable working in a care team model with autonomy
- Ability to manage high-volume surgical cases
Schedule & Work Environment
- Immediate start with open-ended assignment (6+ months preferred)
- 40 hours per week with 8 or 10-hour shifts
- Potential call and weekend coverage depending on assignment length
- 184-bed Level III trauma center with 9 operating rooms
- Anesthesia team includes 4 anesthesiologists and 16 CRNAs
- Approximately 925 births annually
- Case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB, and other adult specialties
- EMR system: Epic
- Credentialing timeline approximately 60–90 days
- High degree of CRNA autonomy within a care team model
