Northern Minnesota Locum CRNA – $240/hr (Level III Trauma with 40-Hr Guarantee)
Job Description
A busy Level III trauma center in Northern Minnesota is seeking two CRNAs for locum tenens coverage beginning February 5, 2026. This opportunity offers strong autonomy in a high-volume setting with a diverse adult case mix and approximately 925 births annually.
CRNAs practice with a high degree of independence and perform their own spinals, epidurals, and other regional anesthesia techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a Level III trauma center
- Manage a case mix that is approximately half general and orthopedics
- Additional cases include ENT, podiatry, OB, and other adult specialties
- Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia procedures
Compensation & Benefits
- $240 per hour
- Overtime after 8 hours per day at $260 per hour
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Travel and lodging reimbursement
- Malpractice coverage provided through agency
- 1099 independent contractor status
Job Requirements
- Active Minnesota license required
- NBCRNA certification required (must be fully certified)
- Current ACLS certification required
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens position starting February 5, 2026
- Monday – Friday schedule
- 8 or 10-hour shifts
- Weekday and weekend call available
- High-autonomy practice environment
