Locum CRNA – $240/hr + Call Pay | Busy Care Team Model – Iowa Hospital
Job Description
Recruiting Resources is seeking a locum tenens CRNA for a high-volume hospital in Iowa transitioning to an in-house anesthesia team. This is a lucrative 14-week (or longer) assignment with flexible scheduling, call pay, and full travel coverage. Work autonomously within a collaborative care team model handling a wide variety of cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a care team model alongside MDAs and CRNAs
- Independently manage cases including OB (spinals and epidurals), ortho, ENT, bariatrics, cardiac, podiatry, and urology
- Perform regional blocks as needed
- Participate in weekday and weekend call coverage
Compensation & Benefits
- $240/hour
- $400 weekday beeper call pay
- $1,720 weekend call pay
- $35 per diem for meals
- Travel, lodging, and mileage covered
Job Requirements
- Active Iowa CRNA license
- Iowa State Substance Certificate & Federal DEA required
- NBCRNA certification
- ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
- Proficiency in OB anesthesia and regional blocks preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- 14-week minimum assignment with flexible start and end dates
- Monday–Friday shifts with weeknight and weekend call rotation
- Busy hospital with 9 ORs and full care team model (6 MDAs / 8 CRNAs)
