North-Central Iowa Locum CRNA – $245/hr | Solo Practice | 2 Weeks/Month | Light Call
Job Description
A facility in North-Central Iowa is seeking one CRNA for locum tenens coverage beginning March 1, 2026. This is a solo CRNA practice providing coverage two weeks per month in an all-CRNA environment.
The position offers bread-and-butter case work with light call responsibilities and strong hourly compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent anesthesia services in a solo CRNA practice
- Manage cases including orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, cataracts, podiatry, and urology
- Participate in light weekday beeper call rotation
- Document anesthesia care using Epic EMR
Compensation & Benefits
- $245 per hour
- $400 weekday (M–F) beeper call pay
- Callback rate: $250/hour with a 2-hour minimum per after-hours callback
- $35/day meal per diem
- Travel and lodging reimbursement
- Malpractice coverage provided through agency
- 1099 independent contractor status
Job Requirements
- Active Iowa license required
- NBCRNA certification required
- DEA and CSR required
- Current ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
- Must be fully certified (not in examination process)
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens position starting March 1, 2026
- Coverage needed two weeks per month
- All-CRNA, solo practice model
- Light call responsibilities
- No cardiac, spine, or neuro cases
